Welcome to the newest feature of the club: a CPD Blog!
The reason I started The Trainers CPD Club is because I know how hard it is to find time for your own learning and development. You may have heard me mention this before, but Trainer’s are very often like Cobblers children! (If you’ve never come across that phrase before, click here.)
I want to make it easy for Trainers and Facilitators to maintain and develop their own knowledge and skills, so a CPD Blog seemed the logical next addition to the club! Every week I’ll cover something new: a model, a theory, a trend, a delivery method or a book review for example.
Unlike the Club Content (which you can access by being a member: click here to join!), the CPD Blog posts are available to anyone and everyone. They are an ideal way to incorporate weekly CPD into your busy schedule and will help you ensure your ideas, learning solutions, content and delivery is both effective and current.
I will try and keep them reasonably short, so readable over a coffee or whilst your traveling to/from work. In each post there will be links to further learning should you wish to find out more.
At the end of each post you will also be prompted to complete your CPD log! To help make this as easy as possible, we’ve developed a 1-page CPD Log template, which is FREE to download from The Material Bank. Click here to grab your copy now! (and you’ll also get access to many other GREAT free resources, templates and material).
You can click here for the first post in the series: The SCARF Model.
I’d love to hear what you think, so please leave a comment below!
Until next time, happy learning!
